As a great challenge for the HeadChannel team, Hospice UK asked us to create the eHospice website with corresponding mobile applications available for iPhone and Android. The toughest task for us was to provide Hospice UK with a great quality of system delivered in nine different languages as quickly as possible in order to enable users to find their way around both the website and the mobile application easily.


Aiming to exceed Hospice UK’s expectations, the HeadChannel team decided to use the .NET platform for the website and the latest HTML5 technology for the mobile versions. This way we could simplify their work, making it easier to add the same content on all three platforms for users in Africa, Australia, Canada, India, Kenya, South Africa, the USA and the UK.

Our Approach

We designed the system so that each national hospice organisation could manage their own edition in their own language.


At the end of the day, all three platforms receive more than 1.2 million page views per month, making professionals easier to reach for people with terminal illnesses. Communication between patients and professionals has never been so easy.
