A potential threat to your brand
From 7th September, it will be possible for someone to buy yourbusinessname.XXX, which could give people the impression your brand is associated with adult, or other inappropriate, content.
Don't let it happen
If you are a trademark owner, you can protect your brand from the 7th September. You just need to register to block the .XXX domain for your trademark. By doing this, you can prevent adult websites using your trademarked brand. If you don't have a trademark, you can still pre-order with domain provider to protect your brand. However, the registration period for these domains won't open until the 6th December.
